Rebate Tracking
Rebate Tracking is the deduction workflow's twin, applied to vendor credits owed for things like overage credits and defective-batch returns. The lifecycle tabs and deadline math are identical.
Browsing the lifecycle tabs
Open the Rebate Tracking panel from the right sidebar:
![]()
Five tabs across the top:
- Overview — every rebate, regardless of state.
- At Risk — pending rebates within 7 days of the filing deadline, or 14 days of the forfeit date. Always sorted by soonest deadline.
- Pending — claimed but not yet filed.
- Filed — filed with the vendor, awaiting receipt.
- Received — money's back.
There is no Forfeited tab — forfeited rebates surface only under Overview.
Each card has the vendor credit ID, status pill, amount, type (e.g. Overage credit, Defective batch return), and the relevant lifecycle date. Cards are deep-linkable via the Copy link button on the detail.
Filing deadline and forfeit countdown
Same dates as deductions:
- Filing deadline — invoice date + 60 days.
- Forfeit date — invoice date + 90 days.
Both are computed at render time, so countdowns don't tick — reload to refresh.
The detail view is read-only — no UI to file or annotate. Use the View Transaction footer button to jump to the originating PO when one is linked.
